We have new versions of many of our apps just about completed and due to release on the Mac App Store very soon.
macOS Catalina includes a number of new features of interest to us, including:
- Dark Mode - support for a user interface dark mode that can be always on, or just come on at night;
- Notarised Apps - Apple now provides a reduced verification service (compared to the Mac App Store) for any app, to provide some level of assurance for apps download outside the Mac App Store; and
- New TV and Music apps - Apple have removed iTunes from macOS Catalina and on and replaced it with the TV and Music apps.
We're putting the finishing touches on updates to Smart Converter and Smart Converter Pro to provide:
- Dark Mode support - new user interface with Light and Dark modes available;
- Notarised apps - apps downloaded from Shedworx.com will be notarised by Apple;
- Support for TV and Music apps - updates to how we send completed files.
We're also updating Music Converter and Music Converter Pro to support sending to the new Apple Music app on macOS Catalina and above.
These updates should be available on the Mac App Store in late October 2019.
